The tallest and heaviest structure ever moved by man is the Troll. It has an overall height of 472 metres and weighs 683,600 tons. It is a drilling rig which was constructed within the years of 1991 to 1995. The troll was built nonstop, day and night, rain or shine, for the stipulated period with the aim of not letting there be any form of crack. It has been proven that by continually building a cylindrical structure with the right chemicals to make it harden quickly and using reinforcement, one can have an airtight structure capable of withstanding any form of leakage. Interestingly, this huge and magnificent structure is held by a base which contains ‘nothing’, as in a vacuum. It is firmly grounded to the bottom of the sea by ‘a container of nothing.’ The principles of engineering relating to the forces that act on the base of the foundation of this structure, makes it a reality for such a giant structure to be held in place by a vacuum. The Troll was towed for seven days over a distance of about 200km by eight ships.
The point I’m making is first, no matter how big your dreams are, with the right team and attitude you will be able to arrive at your destination by not losing hope. Second, no matter how big your problems may be, no matter how long they have stayed with you to grow out of hands, with faith as a mustard seed, every giant problem can listen to your command, just as the Troll is held in place by a vacuum.
My name is Kotey.
